A 20-year-old man is accused of abducting the mother of his child and leaving a 1-year-old baby she was babysitting home alone.

Quentin Lemar Jenkins was arrested Thursday night on charges of abduction, domestic violence violating a protection order and aggravated burglary.

He was held overnight without bond at the Hamilton County jail and faces a judge Friday.

According to court records, Jenkins went to a residence in the 7800 block of Clovernook Avenue in Mt. Healthy, where the woman was babysitting a 1-year-old baby.

He kicked the front door when she refused to come out and then forced it open.

She ran upstairs and locked herself in a bedroom, but he broke that door open, too.

He forced her into his vehicle and took off, leaving a 1-year-old baby home alone.

This is the second time this year he has been charged with going after her, court records show.

In June, he was ordered to stay away from her after he was arrested on charges of domestic violence, aggravated menacing, aggravated trespassing and interference with custody.

In that incident, police say he attacked her at the Clovernook Avenue residence and took her then-2-month-old son.
